To modernize this newly renovated inpatient client, we used a combination of almost thirty different lighting selections to create a functional and creative design. These features included:
- Wall sconces were introduced to create a more homelike feel
- Inlaid lights were used for functional lighting
- Recessed downlights were selected to supplement LED fixtures
- Ceiling mounted globes provided ambience and warmth to the meditation room
- Bedside reading lights were provided for patient convenience
The lighting design for this project became a showcase of how different fixtures and
illumination levels could be used to support everything from administrative tasks to patient
bedside care.
