Building Power Distribution

A large part of our electrical services is the design of power distribution within a new or renovated building. In this case, it was a 10,000 square foot research laboratory. The laboratory had several unique power requirements to serve their equipment and strict air systems. We provided complete design including:
  • Interior building lighting and specialty lighting in testing rooms
  • Design of new electrical feeders and switchgear, transfer switches, transformers and panelboards
  • Power supplies to HVAC equipment to maintain strict negative/positive pressure
  • Receptacles throughout laboratories and administrative spaces
  • Data and communication systems
  • Installation of an emergency generator
  • Power supplies to motion sensors, cameras and access control systems
This project required considerable coordination with our in-house architects and mechanical engineers to ensure all client requirements were addressed.
